Janel
Hello RU-carver, I apologize for not commenting on this post earlier. I was traveling, and had little time while away for the internet work. The imagination of Sergey Kryzhanovsky has found interesting images in the patterns of the plywood planks and has brought humor and a sense of delight with his work. I have plywood somewhere in my house that provides exercise for my own imagination when I look at it, but I have never been managed to coax images into a more permanent view as the above work shows. Thank you, Janel
aldoi
wow I feel redemed, the other day I thought i had gone too far when I was seeing faces, animals and other things on the marble swirls in my bathroom, actually I took a pencil and made the image come out. SileIndigo
This is so cool!!!!! Since we were little, my sister, brother and I always "found" pictures of things in wood grain, like on doors and trim and things around our house. But I've never though of actually making them like this! I've also recently gotten into pyrography, so maybe I'll give it a try! :-) Thanks so much for posting this!
