They were not difficult to make. I did however have to use trial and error in order to get the distance from the hinge to the box correct so that the lid/back would open far enough to make the stand work well. If the distance is too short it makes the stance of the box wide when used as a display stand.

My son-in-law loved them and as a matter of fact now has the larger of the two. I believe his exact words were "that's fat". I think that means I did a good job.
