Janel
Hello to those who are registering to The Carving Path forum. The process is fairly simple. Currently there are some registrants who have not responded to the validation message, and/or, my messages to them bounce back to me undelivered. That results in the registration not being completed. Be sure that your email address is valid and correct. At this time, I am not validating new registrations who use nicknames that are not real names. The request for a real name is two fold, at the least of my reasoning. The Carving Path's members are real people who appreciate communicating with other real people, and, using your real name helps to discern that the registrant is not an automated spam bot registering. I apologize to those who are trying to register and hit a speed bump and have to wait for the process to be completed. Terms Of Use - Please Read Them before registering: The new software version has buried the Terms Of Use/Guidelines for Registration. It is essential that all who wish to become members read the three instructions before completing your registration. The Terms Of Use read as follows: Welcome to The Carving Path Forum! The Carving Path welcomes carvers from many disciplines, whose work involves small-scale carving. We hope that this forum will provide a friendly, informative and accessible place for communication and learning. Guidelines For Registration - You MUST do all three: 1. Use your Real Name for the Display Name, not a made up name or a "handle". First name and your last name initial. 2. You must write an email message to: admin@thecarvingpath.net and Include a brief description of what your interest is with small scale carving. This step is essential. 3. Respond to the Validation message that is sent automatically to verify your email address. > > > Your registration will be deleted in one week if you do not write a message to admin@thecarvingpath.net < < < Please note that by voluntarily posting images or other content on The Carving Path Forum, the forum member/copyright owner is agreeing to and granting copyright use license to The Carving Path Forum for non-profit and non-commercial use of said material and/or materials.
