Audie B.
I have a carving lathe for sale. Need to take a photo if it. Offer a fair price as I have no idea of it's value. It works and has most all of the collets. I think one or two may be missing. Audie

Janel
Please keep negotiations private, by email, between interested parties. Just a reminder. Good luck finding a new home for the lathe. Janel

Ed Twilbeck
Dan I have been a turner for about 40 years , but since Hurricane Katrina in 2005, when I lost all my tools and woodworking studio,,since then I live in an apt building and have a small closet that I carve out of .... I am now looking for a small lathe to do some small turnings. My space is very limited so the lathe will have to be small.
Dan
have you thought of the delta 46-460? i love mine and it does not take up that much room has a 12" swing and i think 16.5 distance between centers. wont be able to turn long stuff but you can do bowls, jars, boxes, small spindles ect.... take a photo of your work space perhaps i can give you some ideas on how you can store the lathe and pull it out easily. especial since i have recently moved to a small work area as well. http://www.woodtalkonline.com/topic/8584-limiting-my-shop-to-minimum/ here is my shop area. i can find out the size of the entire footprint but cant do that right now as lathe is in storage. what tools were you able to salvage?
