after a couple years of simple craft sales a lady bought my stuff and like it enough to recommend me to her friends one is a gallery owner and another is a consignment store owner. as for making enough to make a living forget it you wont ever get paid for the time you put into a project. im lucky enough that my work sells well because im a wood turner so I make bowls and boxes that I do inlay on so I can sell to artist people, housewives that want something nice looking, new age nature people who want natural stuff, and the people who want something just for the sake of its cool looking. so I have a wide market to sell too. but for the hours that I spend turning wood and sanding down and grinding up stones for inlay I probably get paid a quarter at most of what I put into it. but it pays for my supplies and my equipment. and im happy with that. good luck keep up the craft sales and work on your skills and eventuly you will come across the nitch that you can sell too. try making bone ear gages and sell them at tattoo shops I know they sell for good money.
