Billy
Good luck Tony. I think that if the gallery didn't believe in your work, they wouldn't take you on. They know their customers best and they wouldn't want anything to affect their reputation. Good on you for putting your head out there Tony. But no matter what happens, if your art pleases your heart, don't ever give it up. Kia manuia, Billy.
Janel
Hi Tony, Billy is right on about the gallery and choosing to show your work. I would be a little worried if you were not a bit anxious about a one-person show. I certainly would be, and am, even after 40 years of showing my work. I am always anxious when bringing new work to shows when I am the only person showing in my 10' x 10' booth (as gallery) space. I think that what you are feeling is perfectly normal. Take that energy and focus it into positive and constructive energy as you work on the last pieces for this upcoming event. Do your best and grow with each piece that you make. I hope that you will let us know how it goes. Best wishes to you, Janel
