Janel
Hi Anthony, Thank you for the introduction, where ever it ended up! It is possible that you clicked the GO button instead of the Add Reply button. It happens to me sometimes. If I realize that I have done that before moving on to another page, I can press the back button on my browser, and retrieve the message and post it. Your signs are quite attractive. I am partial to the Jennie's Flounder and the Fenwick crab signs, though the quality and impact of the other signs are very impressive. Lucky folks to have your signage. Here is a crab sign for you to enjoy! I saw this one in Kyoto. Its legs and eyes all move! I look forward to seeing more of what you do. Welcome again to the forum. Janel
I have been working on the map and have added around 100 more dots for member locations, for a total so far of about 174 members who have shared their locations. (Some dots are placed within the boundary of a country when only a country name is give, so you may not find where you are exactly on the map.) Happy New Year to you all! Woodworm
Hi Janel. Put a dot on Morden Mb. Cda. I'm in the bush near there somewhere. You may have to wait. The dot might fall off because it's damn cold here right now. Brrrrrr (LOL) And a Happy New Year to you as well. Bill (After thought) -- you may be putting dots for only small scale carvers, I am really just a guest admirer who carves big things.

Tomboy
Hello All, I love being the new guy on the block. I learned when I was young, how to get along well with others. The playground teaches you fast. I'm a rock hounder from way back when, and I used to cut opals for a living back when I was fresh out of the military. Time has a way of going by real quick you know ? Here I am at the age of 55. Wheewwww, I started back into the practice of cutting and carving stone recently, and I guess one might say that I have lost my mind to Jade. My wife will tell you that I did lose myself to it's charms, but I'm still hers. 24 years of marriage and she thinks that I should chase my hearts desires and I do just that. I can share a lot, but keep in mind that I too am still learning, and likely will never stop. I have hopes that I can make a few Jade connections, and maybe even find a few friends along the way. I am in Northern Illinois and the long winters are only good for hibernating, and stone carving, and going to warmer places to find goodies in stone. After reading your announcement about using your real name on the Caving Path I attempted to change my Nick Name to my real name which is Robert Palmer. I was away from the Carving path for years due to medical problems and now that I am back hope to become a supporting member of the community. I understand how busy the site family and your wonderful art must keep you, but if you could help me with this issue Thank you very much. Thank again for the best carving site in the world. Bella Nicol
Helloo, I'm from Southampton ON, in Canada. Not too much happening on the carving front here, I don't have anyone to share my interest with! I'm 21, you can imagine the difficulties I would have finding others who share a common interest. Since 2007 I've been working in the pet nutrition industry and had access to sterilized beef bones all the time. Now I'm ready to expand my horizons to different mediums, specifically I want to try antler since its readily available to me. I am excited to share ideas! Grant T
I'm located in Brisbane, Queensland Australia. I'm into bone carving in the New Zealand Maori style. I'm only a beginner so don't bother contacting me to learn anything from me just yet But if you're close by and you want to pass on some some of your expertise then feel free to make contact. I'm still in the process of getting my work station set up and acquiring my tools.
